Development of a New Strategic Research Programme by the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom (CLOtC)
Take part in a short survey to shape the development of a new strategic research programme for learning outside the classroom (LOtC) in the UK.
Completing this survey will help the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom identify the priority evidence needs for learning outside the classroom (LOtC). By LOtC we mean any learning that happens beyond the classroom, whether that happens indoors or outdoors, near or far away, during the school day or beyond.
Our aim is to use the information from this survey to shape the development of a new strategic research programme for LOtC in the UK - helping to target research investment more effectively, with more collaboration and less duplication.
It will help identify where existing evidence could be shared more effectively, and where new evidence is needed. It will mean that policy and practice across the UK and beyond are more likely to have the right evidence at the right time, enabling more children and young people to benefit from LOtC.
The Council for Learning Outside the Classroom is delighted to be working with PGL Beyond to identify priority evidence needs - whether these come from policymakers, teachers, advisers, or activity providers etc. So please complete the survey and let us know where evidence would be most useful to you and/or your organisation.
The survey has simple tick boxes and should take no more than 10-15 minutes. A quick heads up: question four seems a very long list! This is on purpose to allow you to pick and then rank your top five from the full list, using a simple drag and drop function.
The more responses we get the more useful the results will be, so please do forward it to your networks and contacts too.
Thank you.
Follow the link below and submit your response by midnight on Friday 6th March.
