Biography
At The Therapy Adventure, we believe in Doing Therapy Differently. On any given day, you’ll find our registered therapists delivering 1:1 therapy, whilst whittling around the fire in our outdoor clinics, leading outdoor communication groups for children with complex needs in the woods or supporting autistic children at rock climbing walls.
The Therapy Adventure provides Online and In Person Level 3 Forest School Leader Training and Outdoor Therapy CPD training for therapists and Outdoor Practitioners. Training expands on practitioners existing knowledge and encourages them to think about other ways in which they can support their clients.
The Therapy Adventure courses are created and delivered by Award winning specialists from the fields of Speech and Language Therapy, Clinical Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Clinical Psychology, Play Therapy and Music Therapy.
Our courses are delivered both in-person and online and provide a solid academic grounding of theory and research as well as a toolkit of practical games and strategies.
We also run a number of projects and programmes to support children and young people with additional needs.
