Biography
Based in Brixham, only a stone’s throw away from the sea, Grenville House is in the perfect location to explore the local area and take part in an exciting programme of outdoor activities, creating life-long memories.
The local harbour is ideal for Raft building, Canoeing, Kayaking and Paddleboarding, while on site we have our own High Ropes Course and indoor climbing wall plus space for problem solving outside. Just a short walk along the coast path takes you to Berry Head Nature Reserve where you can take part in Abseiling, Coasteering and Orienteering. Further afield we offer caving and walking on Dartmoor.
Our centre is equipped with a large kitchen, drying room, an extensive changing facility including a mobility changing room and large communal rooms. Staff bedrooms and dormitories are on the two upper floors all with bunk beds and spectacular sea views. We offer both residential and non-residential activities to Schools, Groups, Families and Friends; as well as being able to provide catering. You can even just hire the building.
If you choose to take part in our activities, we have a dynamic team of instructors who aim to ensure you are provided with an engaging outdoor experience which is inspiring and inclusive. A love for the sea and the outdoors is shared across both the domestic and instructional team, which is projected onto our guests and helps us to deliver a memorable stay.
For groups wanting to explore the local coastline, which is home to Seals, Dolphins and a large breeding area for Guillemots; we can offer a base for your adventures.
