Key information
- Various hours available.
- You can expect a stable monthly salary; however, hours worked will vary month to month—summer is our peak period.
- Shifts start from 7.30 am till 3.00 pm and 2.30 pm till 7.30 pm, including occasional double shifts.
- The roles are permanent.
What will I be doing?
We’re working to improve the lives of children in Somerset – and you’ll be a key part of that. Your day-to-day work will involve:
- Delivering daily meals for customers.
- Overseeing our domestic assistants, which will include overseeing the cleanliness of the dining area, food service, and meal preparation.
- Controlling food storage within prescribed guidelines, recording, and dating foodstuffs.
- Monitoring and maintaining the programme for high standards of kitchen and dining room cleanliness and hygiene, including the cleaning of machinery.
- Do not worry about packing lunch- we provide this on your working days!
