Lead Instructor – Water Adventurous Activities at Releasing Potential
About Us
Releasing Potential is dedicated to supporting students aged 11–18 with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. Serving the local authorities of Hampshire and West Sussex, we provide a nurturing alternative to mainstream education where young people can thrive.
Each student is welcomed with unconditional positive regard and recognised as an individual. All our young people have an Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) due to SEMH challenges that have disrupted their learning and led to behaviour that challenges.

Do you believe in the power of water to engage, challenge, and transform? Are you passionate about creating inclusive, supportive environments for young people with special educational needs (SEN).
We’re looking for a Lead Instructor to design and lead meaningful water-based experiences—such as canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and windsurfing, for students with SEMH. You’ll combine technical skill, empathy, and creativity to deliver sessions that promote confidence, wellbeing and independence.
