‘Youth Matters: Your National Youth Strategy’ was published on 10 December 2025. however, we recognise that the Government cannot deliver the ambitions of the Strategy alone. Everyone has a role to play to support young people.
Between January and March 2026, DCMS has partnered with the National Youth Agency, UK Youth and the Regional Youth Work Units to deliver a series of regional roadshow events in communities across England. Over 2000 professionals from across different sectors came together to explore what the strategy means in practice, share regional insight and agree what needs to happen next. Our partners have produced a great summary report of the insights we gathered.
We also partnered with the #iWill Movement to deliver events with over 400 young people to have youth‑led conversations bringing the Youth Matters to life locally. You can see a video with some great clips from the events here on linkedin.
