Unit 11 – Edged tools - axes

Unit 12 – Animal tracking & awareness

Unit 13 – Campfire cooking

Unit 14 – Plant identification & uses Carving

Unit 16 – Game preparation

Unit 17 – Natural containers

Unit 18 – Trapping, snaring & fishing

 

Useful kit:

  • Personal first aid kit
  • Overnight camping equipment.  
  • Food and cooking equipment for a 2 day assessment
  • All tools, materials and equipment required for the assessment

To be added to the register of holders of the IOL Bushcraft Competency Diploma you must already hold the IOL Bushcraft Competency Diploma.  You will also need to attend a separate 2 day assessment,

 


Cancellations etc for IOL Bushcraft Certificate Assessments:

Transfer of your booking to an alternate date/venue. If you choose to transfer the date and venue for an assessment which you have booked there will be a charge incurred. Transfers are only available for Assessment bookings that are fully paid.

Transfer request received 15 days or more before the booked assessment date - 30% of assessment fee.
Transfer request received within 7 days to 14 days of the booked assessment date - 50% of assessment fee.
Transfer request received less than 7 days before the booked assessment date - 75% of assessment fee.
Transfer fees are non-refundable.
