Spring into Summer AOT Webinar
Hosted by Philip Stallard
Monday 8th June 19.00-20.00
In this webinar, Philip Stallard, Co‑Founder and Clinical Adventure Therapist at New Wave Wild Project, will introduce his integrated approach to adventure therapy and share insights from his work with young people and families across Ireland. Drawing on two decades of experience in mental health, social work, and experiential learning, Philip will outline how adventure‑based activities, natural environments, and relational practice come together to create meaningful therapeutic engagement.
The webinar will explore the core principles that shape his practice, including working in green and blue outdoor spaces, purposeful activities, and a flexible approach designed to meet young people where they are, and supporting them to build confidence, connection, and resilience through real‑world experiences. He will also discuss the development of New Wave Wild Project as a non-profit service, the clinical frameworks that underpin his practice, and the unique considerations involved in delivering therapy outdoors in an Irish context.
Philip brings both practical insight and international perspective to the growing field of outdoor therapies and the session will be valuable for those interested in integrating adventure‑based approaches into therapeutic work.
