Action4Youth is seeking enthusiastic and skilled Freelance Activities Instructors to join our dynamic team for the 2025-26 season. We deliver outstanding outdoor learning experiences to children and young people, helping them build confidence, resilience, and a love for adventure.

Our centres offer the widest range of land and water-based activities in the region, with a strong focus on inclusion and accessibility. We pride ourselves on delivering bespoke programmes that meet the needs of every group.
The Role
As a Freelance Instructor, you will:
- Deliver a variety of exciting activities such as sailing, kayaking, open canoeing, archery, climbing, stand-up paddle boarding, fencing, high ropes, tunnels, and more to schools and community groups.
- Ensure all sessions are safe, engaging, and educational.
- Support the day-to-day running of a busy outdoor centre.
- Work with a diverse audience, including young people with special educational needs.
- Be part of a supportive and passionate team, making a real difference every day.
What We’re Looking For
- Hold at least one of the following national governing body awards: Paddle Sport Leader, UKCC L2, Climbing Wall Instructor, RCI, or Dinghy Instructor.
- Experience working with young people in an outdoor setting (desirable).
- A positive, flexible attitude and a commitment to inclusion.
- Willingness to work on a rota, including some evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
