About the Role
Lead one of Ireland's most exciting adventure, hospitality, and tourism operations.
Carlingford Adventure Centre, Skypark Carlingford, and Carlingford Holiday Homes combine outdoor adventure, outdoor learning, group experiences, accommodation, events, and hospitality in one fast-moving destination business. Welcoming more than 50,000 guests annually, the operation spans over 40 activities, large-scale group catering, self-catering accommodation, and memorable experiences for schools, families, corporate groups, and international visitors.
We are seeking an experienced Attraction Manager to take day-to-day operational leadership across this unique multi-site business.
This is a senior leadership role with real breadth. You will lead across adventure operations, hospitality, accommodation, facilities, and guest services, working directly with the General Manager and helping shape the next phase of growth across the wider group.
Relocation support is available, including potential access to local housing. For the successful candidate relocating to Carlingford, a 3-bedroom house may be available to rent, subject to availability.

The role
You will be responsible for the operational delivery of Carlingford Adventure Centre, Skypark Carlingford, and Carlingford Holiday Homes, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations across every aspect of the guest experience.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is comfortable stepping onto the floor during busy periods, supporting teams in real time, and maintaining high standards across a complex, high-volume operation.
Key responsibilities
• Lead and support departmental managers across activities, catering, housekeeping, front of house, retail, maintenance, and accommodation
• Drive strong day-to-day operational performance across all business areas
• Maintain excellent health, safety, and security standards
• Oversee staffing, rotas, stock control, resources, and operational planning
• Ensure high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and guest service
• Support the delivery of corporate programmes, private hires, festivals, and flagship events
• Coordinate with Sales and Marketing to ensure smooth delivery of bookings and events
• Manage resources and budgets to support commercial performance
• Act as Duty Manager as part of the management rota
Operational scale
The successful candidate will help lead an operation that includes:
• Over 50,000 visitors annually
• More than 40 activities
• 336 guest beds
• Catering capacity of up to 450 guests per sitting
• School tours, family breaks, corporate events, international groups, and seasonal attractions
About you
You are an experienced operational leader who combines energy, structure, commercial awareness, and strong people management skills within a busy customer-facing environment.
You will ideally have:
• At least 5 years' management experience in hospitality, tourism, leisure, visitor attractions, outdoor education, or a similar sector
• A strong track record of leading teams across multiple functions
• Sound judgement in operations, staffing, and service delivery
• Strong health and safety awareness
• Experience managing rotas, resources, budgets, and standards
• A calm and practical approach under pressure
• The credibility and presence to lead from the front
Adventure industry experience is welcome but not essential. We are equally interested in exceptional leaders from hospitality, tourism, attractions, leisure, outdoor learning, and service-led businesses who are ready to step into a broader operational leadership role.
