Overall Role:
This role covers the day to day management of the Activity Team and Instructors on site. To ensure the team are fully qualified and trained to deliver the activities requested, and to comply with the legal requirements of AALA. You will hold Senior Instructor RYA Sailing and UKPaddlesport Leader with experience in a variety of paddlecraft.
A Site Supervisor role is incorporated, whereby the Activities Leader is the designated Site Supervisor for the shift to oversee general management and operation of the site and deal with any issues arising with the team on duty.
Overall, the role is to maintain a safe operating activity centre that clients feel part of as a community.
Qualifications and Experience for this role:
Essential:
- Three years working in an outdoor activity centre environment.
- RYA Senior Instructor in Sailing.
- UK Paddlesport Leader, with experience in canoe, kayak and SUP.
- Ability to brief a team on activities – supervisory experience.
- Customer service experience in an outdoor environment.
Desirable:
- Powerboat Instructor – RYA
- Management Experience to lead and manage a team and work with other managers.
- Financial/Administrative Experience for costs, reporting and organisation of activities.
