Entrust delivers adventure training programs on behalf of the British Army. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are currently looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Senior Storekeeper to support the delivery of adventure training to phase one Army recruits and other units, by assisting with the care, maintenance and issue of Adventure Training clothing and equipment.
YOU WILL BE EXPECTED TO:
- Support the Operations Manager in disseminating good practice and centre specific operating practices to the wider stores team
- Support the local Operations Manager and Military staff to plan the delivery and operation of the stores to meet planned recruit training.
- Establish, maintain, and develop positive professional relationships with clients and colleagues
· Take lead role in operational planning and delivery of the store in line with the contract held between Entrust and the Military
· Take a lead role in the daily and other periodic checks of clothing and equipment, including 3-monthly PPE checks, along with associated record keeping
· Supervise and support the issue and collection of appropriate clothing and equipment to recruits and permanent staff, including associated record keeping
· Supervise and support the issue and receipt of technical adventure training equipment to instructors, including associated record keeping
· Supervise and support the loading and unloading drying rooms, laundry, restocking storage areas ready for re-issue
- Supervise and assist with keeping the Soldier Development Wing stores clean and tidy. Conduct minor repairs and maintenance of clothing and equipment
- Support with Incident response in conjunction with Operations Manager and Military Staff. Ensure internal incident reporting is completed promptly and accurately
- Support the development of systems and processes to deliver improvements across the business. Ensure work process are followed by providing accurate information, of sufficient detail and in a timely way to support reporting and auditing.
- Compliance with all relevant Entrust and client policies and procedures

- Be prompt and effective in reacting to lowering standards and/or when improvements are needed
- Support the development of systems and processes to deliver improvements across the business

- Undertake additional duties as required, within reason and commensurate with your role, and within your areas of competency and expertise
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
· High personal standards in presentation, communication and delivering customer service
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to work in a team environment
· Hold or working towards a HSE recognised PPE Inspector Qualification
· Experience of record keeping and reporting
· Experience of storekeeping/stores management
IN ADDITION, THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE/SKILLS ARE CONSIDERED DESIRABLE:
· Current and UK Driving Licence
· D1+E
· Good IT skills - including Excel, Gear log.
· Previous Joint Services Adventure Training experience or British Army Adventure Training experience
Entrust vetting, Enhanced DBS, Baseline Personal Security Screening, Ministry of Defence vetting, and British Army induction requirements will need to be completed for this role.
