Location: Birmingham Boys & Girls Union t/a Woodlands Adventure and Outdoor Learning, Aldridge, Walsall, West Midlands, WS9 0SH
Main duties and responsibilities - to instruct groups in a wide range of land and water-based activities, adhering strictly to the operating procedures of the Centre, to assist in the maintenance and cleaning of the Centre, and to set out and put away equipment as necessary.
Requirements – The ideal candidate will have excellent time keeping, be able to work well as part of a team and on their own and hold or be working towards one or more of the following:
UKCC level 1 or higher,
GNAS / Archery GB leader,
Climbing Wall Instructor (CWI),
Rock Climbing Instructor (RCI), first aid.
Qualifications are desirable; however, training will be given to the right candidates.
Special conditions – the employee will be expected to work weekends as required.
Successful candidates are required to undergo an enhanced DBS disclosure at the company’s expense.
