Professional adventurer Richard Harpham FRGS has completed over 14,500 miles of human powered expeditions including sea kayaking from Vancouver to Alaska, cycling the Sahara and skiing the Yukon Territories, living at minus 50. His adventures have been covered by BBC1, the Huffington Post, National Geographic Kids, Bushcraft and Survival and Wanderlust Magazines. He was the manager of the Ghana Ski Team at the Vancouver Olympics in 2010 and former editor of the Bushcraft and Survival Skills Magazine.
He runs www.canoetrail.co.uk , a watersports and adventure company with his wife Ashley, providing coaching, wild camping, and iconic paddling expeditions. Their paddling guidebook is due out next year.
