Booking Terms & Conditions for IOL Events

Cancellations:

All cancellations must be in writing and acknowledged by the IOL (email is acceptable). 

• 28 days or more before the event - Full refund, less a 10% admin fee to cover non-IOL charges.
• 8 - 27 days prior to the event - 50% refund.
• 7 days or less prior to the event - No refund or transfer.

IOL reserve the right to cancel the event if it proves necessary - a full refund will be given in these circumstances.

Substitutions

Customers may, at the discretion of the IOL, substitute another individual from the same organisation for an event with no penalty for the first change (for subsequent changes there will be a 10% or £10 administration charge, whichever is the greater).

IOL FREE events

IOL FREE events are provided at no charge by the presenters.  Please respect their contribution by attending if you have booked on.  The presenter(s) will be using booking numbers to help them prepare their event/ webinar, your non-attendance does have an impact. Some events/ webinars have very limited availability, by booking and not attending you may be taking up a space that someone else would like.

In additon, for IOL Bushcraft Certificate Assessments only:

Transfer of your booking to an alternate date/venue. If you choose to transfer the date and venue for an assessment which you have booked there will be a charge incurred. Transfers are only available for Assessment bookings that are fully paid.

• Transfer request received 15 days or more before the booked assessment date - 30% of assessment fee.
• Transfer request received within 7 days to 14 days of the booked assessment date - 50% of assessment fee.
• Transfer request received less than 7 days before the booked assessment date - 75% of assessment fee.
• Transfer fees are non-refundable

The option to transfer can only be used once, after which any movement will be considered a cancellation, and any outstanding invoices will remain due irrespective of the number of working days’ notice given for the cancellation.
