Location: Staffordshire – Standon Bowers OEC or Laches Wood OEC (base centre confirmed upon successful selection)
Salary: £24k-£27k
Contract: Seasonal (March – November 2026)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week on a 5-out-of-7-day rota, including evenings and weekends
Additional Pay: £60 per night for overnight and breakfast duties

The Role
As an Outdoor Education Instructor, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality outdoor learning sessions with a focus on safety, learning outcomes, and exceptional customer service.
- Lead a wide range of centre-based and off-site activities (dependent on qualifications).
- Work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and overnight duties.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Commit to ongoing professional development
- Reflect on and improve your practice to enhance the overall outdoor education experience.
About You
We’re looking for passionate, skilled individuals who:
- Have experience working with young people in outdoor settings.
- Are enthusiastic about a variety of outdoor activities.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
- Hold or are working towards relevant National Governing Body (NGB) qualifications.
- Have experience in residential outdoor education (desirable).
