About the role:
Sayers Croft London (part of Westminster City Council) are looking for an experienced Level 3 Forest School Leader to provide freelance cover from November 2026 to April 2027. This is a great opportunity to take on varied, rewarding work in a well-established outdoor learning setting, with the possibility of ongoing work after the initial cover period.
You will work alongside another Forest School Leader to deliver a long-term Home Education Forest School programme, as well as seasonal Introduction to Forest School sessions for primary school classes.
The role offers space to be creative, support children’s connection with nature, and contribute to high-quality outdoor learning experiences.
We are looking for someone who
- Holds a Level 3 Forest School Leader qualification.
- Has an up to date Outdoor Paediatric First Aid Qualification and enhanced DBS qualification (or willing to apply).
- Has experience planning and delivering Forest School sessions for children.
- Is confident working outdoors in all seasons and managing risk effectively.
- Can work collaboratively with another Forest School Leader.
- Brings creativity, flexibility, and enthusiasm to outdoor learning.
