About the role
The role of an Outdoor Activity Instructor is to promote personal development, teamwork, and enjoyment through outdoor learning and challenge
The day typically starts at 08.15 and finishes at 17.15. Evening shifts finish at 20.15. There is an expectation to work some weekends and public holidays.
Key responsibilities
Plan and lead high-quality, inclusive activities tailored to the age, ability, and learning needs of all participants.
Maintain high safety standards by following Centre policies, conducting risk assessments, and responding effectively to emergencies.
Manage equipment setup, pack-down, and routine maintenance, ensuring all gear is safe and faults are reported promptly.
Foster a welcoming environment by building positive relationships.
