Outdoor Learning in the Peak District

Situated in the heart of England, just south of Manchester, the Peak Region covers the area between Stoke on Trent to the West, Derby to the South and Sheffield to the East. The region is home to a wide cross-section of the outdoor learning community, including residential outdoor centres, specialist environmental and activity centres and a busy community of freelance practitioners.

Interactive mapping at your fingertips

An excellent resource for exploring our outdoor learning places

Why not try out this excellent multi-layered mapping resource and explore your area. There is much to learn with this mapping tool.

The MAGIC website provides authoritative geographic information about the natural environment from across government. The information covers rural, urban, coastal and marine environments across Great Britain. It is presented in an interactive map which can be explored using various mapping tools that are included.

 

The next update to datasets and the interactive map will be carried out on Wednesday 13th February 2019.
