Funded mountaineering and climbing programmes in the Scottish Highlands for young people

The Martin Moran foundation is a charity set up in the name of mountain guide and exploratory climber, Martin Moran.

We offer week long, fully funded mountaineering and climbing programmes in the Scottish Highlands with all travel, accommodation and professional instruction included. The successful applicants are provided with a full set of mountaineering clothing and equipment, from our sponsor Mountain Equipment, to take away with them.

There are 8 places available on this year's programme and we are looking for young people aged 16 - 18 who have shown a passion for the mountains but struggle to access them due to barriers or challenges such as financial or family situations.

If you know of any young people who would benefit from this experience, you can nominate them to be put forward for a place on this year's programme in October 2022.
