Only 18.27% of children active for 60 minutes per day

Worryingly over 80% of children are not meeting activity levels recommended by the Chief Medical Officer

As part of the Right To Be Active campaign, the Sport and Recreation Alliance has published a breakdown of childhood activity levels by local authority in England.

Click on the map, search the dropdown list or type in your postcode to see what the picture is in your local area.

IOL is keen to spread the word on the benefits of learning outdoors to help more children improve their activity levels.

NB. The data in the maps is taken from Sport England's Active Lives Children and Young People Survey 2017/18.
