Impact of COVID-19 on Grassroots Activity

The last year has been incredibly tough for community clubs. Lockdowns, restrictions and social-distancing has seen many of you temporarily close or reduce your capacity to deliver the activity you love.

Sheffield Hallam University are working with the Sport and Recreation Alliance to understand the current picture of grassroots physical activity and how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected your club. They ask.... "If you are a club secretary, coach or volunteer – please take 10 minutes to complete this survey which will allow us to understand what you need and how we can work to get every grassroots club re-opened and ready to welcome back your participants.

By gaining an accurate picture of what has happened to your membership, income and ability to operate – we will be able to more accurately support you in our conversations with government and other partners."

Closes Feb 14th.
