DCMS review of out of school activities

The Department for Media, Culture and Sport (DCMS) is undertaking a rapid review of programmes to support youth services on behalf of the Treasury.  The outcome of this exercise will inform spending priorities and policy direction, with a particular focus on levelling-up opportunities, use of the Youth Investment Fund and the National Citizen Service.

DCMS is reviewing the programmes and services it supports for young people outside of school (including the National Citizen Service, youth clubs, youth volunteering opportunities and local sports/arts groups). They want to hear from as many young people and youth sector organisations as possible.

There has been a short extension to the deadline for responses to the DCMS questionnaire to 7th March, on the gov.uk website: a link can be found here.
