13-year-old boy raised £250,000 to help save Lake District Calvert Trust

He has now received the Prime Minister's Points of Light award

Oliver Voysey sprung into action after the Lake District Calvert Trust warned it may not reopen after lockdown last year having lost £1m in revenue. He completed a series of themed challenges in the run-up to his birthday.

Oliver requires specialist care having suffered a brain injury when he was two days old, which left him with sight loss, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, autism and learning difficulties.
