(1 x 12 month contract and 6 x 4 month contracts) - Various Wigan Locations

Salary: £18,034 - £20,097 per annum

Hours: 37 annualised hours per week

Closing Date: 22nd March 2019, 12noon

Proposed Interview Date: Tuesday 26th March 2019



An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, qualified and committed individual to deliver high quality instruction across the outdoor service.

The post holder will be responsible for delivery of high-quality new and existing outdoor activity products in a variety of settings whilst ensuring a high standard of customer service and a positive impact for all participants by delivering meaningful, fun and challenging programmes.

You will operate within the safety guidelines of the service including the maintenance of equipment and have line management responsibility for volunteers and apprentices.


Skills and qualities required:

Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience along with:

Relevant experience of delivering Activities to schools, groups, community centres and clubs.

A minimum of 2 of the following qualifications Dinghy, Windsurf, Kayak, archery, bush craft or climbing instructor.

A Powerboat Level 2 qualification.

An activity specific first aid certificate
