Are you an enthusiastic team player looking for a new challenge in 2019?

Longtown Outdoor Learning Trust is looking for two enthusiastic instructors to strengthen our established team and meet the demands of our summer bookings. The Trust’s 70-bed residential centre is situated in the beautiful Herefordshire village of Longtown on the eastern edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park.  It has excellent facilities set in 16 acres of private grounds and is located between the eastern edge of the Black Mountains and the River Monnow.

This exciting opportunity has resulted from the expansion of our summer operation and the development of new activities both on-site and in our local area.

Applicants must have at least one season’s experience of leading / coaching outdoor adventure activities and a sound understanding of relevant issues in safety and outdoor education.  Applicants must hold a current first aid certificate and at least one relevant NGB award (Paddlesport, Caving, Rock Climbing, Hill Walking, Archery).  Experience of bushcraft would also be welcomed.

Excellent organisation and communication skills are expected and an enhanced DBS check will be required for successful applicants.
