There will be other post available across both centres to start in September. The Outdoor Learning Service has two centres; Bewerley Park in Pateley Bridge,  set in the beautiful Nidderdale valley part of the Yorkshire Dales and East Barnby located in Whitby on the edge of the North York Moors and close to Yorkshire's Heritage Coast . These large, well established North Yorkshire County Council residential centres,  offer a full range of outdoor activities including climbing, canoeing, caving, sailing, surfing and mountain biking and provide "Motivational Learning in Inspirational Environments" for both primary and secondary age pupils, and adult courses.  There will be opportunities to undertake a full range of national governing body awards - see our website - www.outdoored.co.uk  - for further information.

The pay will be £379.09 per month and £4549.07 per annum.  There are opportunities to earn additional pay on supply work and overnight duties when experience and training allows.  As part of the employment package, we provide food, accommodation and a comprehensive training package.  The posts are initially a one year fixed term contract, but there may be opportunities to extend to a second year.  Interviews will be a two day process on the 11th /12th March 2019 which will include a formal interview, tour of the centres, joining a group on the activity programme and talking to current Tutors and Trainee Instructors about their experience.

Start dates for contract may vary but ideally looking at starting before Easter for three post and then other posts to start in September. Interviews to be held on 11th/12th March.
