Salary: £27,500 per annum (excluding Outer London waiting, payable if accommodation not taken)

Hours: 40 hours a week

Summary of Job
You will lead a team of staff and volunteers to deliver life changing experiences to all our visitors. This role is incredibly varied with no two days the same as you work with and lead the centre team to ensure every aspect of the centre runs smoothly. Making sure everything is safe, clean and compliant with current regulations and Scout Adventures Policy.
Most importantly you will be an excellent leader. This role requires getting the best from the team of staff and volunteers around you. You will be hands on, leading from the front when necessary and directing from afar as you empower members of the team to take responsibility for executing their ideas and projects.
You will also have an understanding and passion for the benefits gained from learning outside and residential experiences both in the context of its part in the Scout programme but also within education. You will be able to build relationships with or customers and key influencers locally so your ability to display this knowledge and passion will be truly out to the test.
This is a big team so you will have a desire to learn from those around you as well as share the knowledge and experience you have with colleagues from around the UK as we all work together to grow and improve Scout Adventures
