Hospitality and Catering Coordinator - CMC Adventure, Gwynedd - Salary: £19500

Hospitality and Catering Coordinator

CMC Adventure, Gwynedd

Salary: £19500

Closing date: 13/02/2020

Interviews: 27th- 28th February 2020

CMC Adventure is an outdoor activity centre situated within the Snowdownia National Park, set against the stunning backdrop of the Rhinog Mountain Range. The centre is on the waterfront, enabling water sport activities to take place on site and we are in walking distance of Llandanwg beach.

We require a full time Hospitality and Catering Coordinator to begin work March / April 2020. This is a senior position at CMC and is an exciting opportunity to ensure a warm and safe welcome for our guests.  Main duties will include ensuring the centres are prepared and changed over for a groups visit, arranging the menu and ordering food and planning maintenance and decorating work during the quieter parts of the year.  A thorough understanding of Health and Safety legislation and good practice is essential.  On occasion it may be necessary to cook, therefore experience cooking for large groups is a definite advantage.  Driving license essential.  The successful candidate will also have a good level of experience caring for staff and volunteers.

For this post, it is important that you are committed to CMC Adventure’s Christian ethos, working principles and vision and are able to demonstrate this through your commitment, motivation and service. It is therefore an Occupational Requirement (Equality Act - part 1, schedule 9), that the post-holder is a committed Christian.
