Business and Accounts Administrator (Full time) - Adventure Expeditions (Peak District) - £20,000 - £24,000pa

Business and Accounts Administrator (Full time)

Adventure Expeditions (AE)

This is a position for a full-time Business and Accounts Administrator within Adventure Expeditions (AE), providing vital administration throughout business operations and the range of programmes and courses that we deliver. This role involves responsibility for the day to day administrative running of AE operations including communications by telephone, email and in person, basic accounting responsibilities, planning and managing workloads, producing programme paperwork and documentation, managing spreadsheets and databases, client liaison, attending meetings and working closely with the AE Core Team to implement and evolve AE’s commitment to industry leading Internal Quality Assurance.

For the right person, the role may also develop to include some management responsibilities including liaising with and managing other administration or accounting personnel. Specific accounting or management experience is not a pre-requisite for this role but these are areas for career progression depending on the candidate and experience.

The right person would have a strong commitment to excellent levels of client care and attention to detail. We aim to ensure that our clients are well looked after, right from their initial contact with us through to follow up and review. We are looking for a like-minded individual to join us to help shape the systems and processes of AE over the next few years – an exciting time in our growth and development.

The position is based from our premises in Hathersage in the heart of the Peak District. We have a lovely view out over the Hope Valley from our office and training space on the first floor with comprehensive stores and drying space on the ground floor. Stunning hillwalking, fell running and world-famous gritstone climbs are all on the doorstep. Hathersage has a number of places to eat, a deli, pub, local convenience stores and petrol station and Sheffield is approximately 8 miles away – Hathersage railway station is just outside our base for easy access, with Manchester served quickly from the opposite direction on the same train line through the Peak District in under an hour.
