About us

We’re an educational charity that helps young people defy their limitations, so they become strong, resilient and curious, ready for the challenges of life. Using learning and adventures in the wild, we partner with schools, colleges, employers and youth groups to teach young people most important lesson they could ever learn: to believe in themselves.

Our Loch Eil Centre, based in the Highlands of Scotland, is one of our six residential centres in the UK. Nearing completion of a £2 million refurbishment, the centre is being upgraded and transformed.

About you

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced outdoor professional to join our team in Loch Eil. You will lead the development of learning, adventure and the natural environment in our centre. With the purpose of delivering the most impactful courses possible for the young people we work with.

Your priority will be to ensure we have high quality, adventurous, safe courses by coaching, sharing best practice and working with your team of committed and talented instructors in the field. Reporting to the Head of Centre, you will be part of a team of three Learning & Adventure Managers who are responsible for all instructors, with line management responsibility for a group of up to 12.

Learning & Adventure Managers are members of our Centre Leadership Team and contribute to the overall strategic and operational performance of the centre.
