An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join a successful facilities management team based at Calshot Activities Centre. We require a dynamic, proactive individual with a zest and passion to deliver great customer service.

This is on a permanent contract with real opportunities for progression.  Hampshire Outdoor Centres have a reputation for excellence and professionalism as well as operating to the highest standards. Hampshire Outdoor Centres consists of four centres, three in Hampshire and one in Wales.


Job Purpose:

To support the delivery of a defined customer focused, effective, safe, clean and secure FM services for Calshot Activities Centre.


Role Responsibilities:

Under direction, undertake a range of frontline facility tasks; to include the recording of FM data and upkeep of FM information systems, enquiry handling from staff and customers, activity set up requirements and portering duties, in order to satisfy Centre user requirements.

Contribute to FM team efficiency innovations 

Perform other general site support tasks including basic repair tasks such as replacing light bulbs.

Assist other colleagues in more technical maintenance tasks and repairs

Liaise with colleagues over the response to and support for, building maintenance, security and events management.

Maintain an awareness of equalities and Health and Safety policies and procedures and apply them in the day to day job requirements. Report any Health and Safety issues.

Redirecting calls and enquiries to the most appropriate person, sometimes handling sensitive information.

Assessing own workload and prioritising tasks under direction.

Seeking guidance from appropriate contacts when appropriate.

To instigate an appropriate response to an emergency first aid situation

To act as a fire marshal


Work pattern: 37 Hours per week. 0800-1630 Monday –Thursday, 0800 – 1600 Friday. Plus up to 10 contracted weekends per year
