Apprentice Activity Instructor
Blackland Farm, Foxlease and Waddow Hall
Closing date 13th March 2020
Join us this season as an Apprentice Activity Instructor at one of Girlguiding’s Activity Centres!
Our Apprentice Activity Instructors assist with the delivery and instruction of our adventure-filled and exciting sessions. The programme will provide a hands-on experience for our apprentices, as you will begin to take responsibility for leading the sessions once qualifications and experience is gained!
Our Apprentice Activity Instructors are passionate, both about the outdoor industry and working for Girlguiding. They represent the public face of Girlguiding, ensuring that all activities are conducted in a manner which promotes and enhances the organisation’s safeguarding policies, images and reputation, ultimately ensuring that participants have a safe and enjoyable experience with us so that they want to visit again.
Girlguiding are committed to training our apprentices and providing them with the qualifications and experience to prepare them for their career. We provide a supportive and enjoyable environment, where our apprentices can learn and develop whilst having fun!
Whilst undertaking your apprenticeship, you will be working towards an Outdoor Activity Standard Level 3. The apprenticeship is in partnership with Locomotivation.
While Girlguiding’s young membership is only open to girls and young women, we work as One Team with over 100,000 adult volunteers. We value the differences that a diverse workforce brings and are committed to inclusivity across the organisation. Girlguiding is proud to be part of the Stonewall Diversity Champions programme, a member of the Business Disability Forum, and a member of Time to Change. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
