Full time/fixed term – February to October (shorter contracts available)

SOEC is an independent Scottish charity providing quality learning opportunities for schools and groups.
We inspire, motivate, and empower young people to develop the qualities and skills they will need to survive and thrive in their future.
Our start date is mid-February.
Contracts run to October but there is some scope to extend this into the winter months. We are happy to discuss shorter contracts.
SOEC provides full training and induction prior to commencing work with groups.
What we look for
a genuine interest in the education and development of young people
outdoor professionals looking to develop group skills and qualifications
people with one or more national governing body awards
a minimum of a year’s experience of working at a residential outdoor education centre.
driving licence desirable
Package and benefits
From £20,800 per annum pro rata based on a 40-hour week.
Weekends and evening working will be part of this. Additional payments are made for duty cover.
Hours of work may vary according to customer demand.
28 days holiday per annum pro rata.
Stay with the same group all week.

Single room accommodation is available at each Centre (if required).
Interviews will be held over the winter. We encourage applicants to meet us if possible, but remote interviews are an option.
