Background and Introduction
Making the Scottish Outdoor Access Code and Leave No Trace an essential part of your work
17.8.09..... Attention everyone who attended a CODE workshop with Peter Braidwood in 2007 and 2008
- Have your say! In 2007/08, you participated in an IOL Educating the Educators Course, held in various venues around the country and run by Peter Braidwood.
- During this course you were given the opportunity to learn about and explore the SNH 'Know the Code before you go!' Activity Guides: Rights and responsibilities in the outdoors for young people' (aged 8 - 12 and 12 - 14 years old)
- These Activity Guides have now been available for over 2 years and the time has come to evaluate how well they are meeting your needs. We would like to invite you to visit www.outdooraccess-scotland.com/educationresources by the end of October to have your say.
- As well as evaluating the guides, the survey will ask for your views and ideas for any future projects or products to help young people to enjoy the outdoors responsibly. As with all evaluations, we really need people to get involved – the more responses we get, the more likely it is that our response to the feedback is relevant and useful to you.
- If you would prefer to receive the survey in a printed format, please contact Caroline Reid on 01738 458 557. Thank you in advance for your time.
