CPD programme for 2008

  • In addition to the Low Ropes workshop being run on 6th March 2008 the following courses will be run due to popular demand:
Problem Solving and Low Ropes workshop No. 2
This will be held at a venue in Kent at the beginning of June.
  • Outdoor Managers Training Day
A very exciting programme is lined up for this new event to look at sharing of best practice amongst Managers in the Outdoors.  Likely to be held on the Isle of Wight towards the end of September this will be an ideal opportunity to network and explore ideas on how to improve the running of your team or organisation.
  • Dealing with Challenging Behaviour seminar
A workshop that was very popular at the last conference so we decided to make it a day course.  Venue to be at Wellington College in Berkshire in May.  Jo King of Developing Potential will be the workshop presenter.

Dates and costs to be confirmed shortly so watch this space!

Noticeboard

IOL wish to support and encourage the training and development of all practitioners in the Southern region.  One of the many ways we can do this is by helping centres to fill spaces on their in-house training programmes, such as BCU training, by advertising on this region website (see also the IOL national courses/events webpage)

If you have any training courses coming up in the new year for which you would like us to help fill the spaces then please email the general regions email below.  This will then be forwarded to the Chair who will contact you to discuss further before putting on the website.

If there are any other ways that we can support your training and development needs please do not hesitate to let us know.
