Journal of Adventure Education
and Outdoor Learning

10th Anniversary Special Issue on ‘Journey(s)

  • 2010 sees 10 years of publication of Journal of Adventure Education and Outdoor Learning. In celebration of this anniversary, a Special Issue will be
published. The Editorial Board is seeking contributions on the theme of ‘Journey(s)’.
The discourse of ‘Journey(s)’ may be interpreted from a diversity of theoretical, methodological and practice perspectives. For example, editors will consider papers which explore the changing paradigmatic research
journey(s) in adventure education and/or outdoor learning, metaphorical journeys, the place of outdoor learning through significant life experience and so forth.
Submissions may explore convergence in professional practice in the outdoors or take a literal interpretation. More info here
All submissions will be subject to the usual rigorous reviewing processes and publication cannot be guaranteed.
Final date for submission: September 30th 2009. Papers should be sent to jaeol@outdoor-learning.org
