IOL Successful in funding bid to Scottish Natural Heritage
IOL Scotland Chair and MD Karen Brush recently submitted a successful funding bid to the Scottish Natural Heritage Access Programme for IOL Scotland to provide a series of 6 'roadshows' (held in geographically practical locations) where providers of outdoor learning/activities can attend to gain training in and be given resources for cascading public awareness and understanding of the Scottish Outdoor Access Code during the course of their work. Proposed attendees will include those Instructors delivering courses in Outdoor Centres; Teachers, Youthworkers and Social Workers working with clients people in an outdoor setting; volunteers and other groups, such as Field Studies Officers.
