Spring Will Be a Little Early Next Year

Analysis of 125,000 sets of observations of 542 plant and 19 animal species collected over thirty years in 21 countries, by the Centre for Ecology and Hydrology in Huntingdon, have established beyond doubt that leaves on British trees open 10 days earlier as a result of global warming.

On average the European Spring is 6-8 days earlier than it used to be, And the onset of Autumn is three days later. The study was effective because it used species common to all the European countries like beech and wild cherry.

The earlier arrival of migrating birds and the spawning of frogs were other indicators.
