Get up to 60% off NGB Awards;
real financial support in the north west:
Get Qualified NW offers you 60% off a range of essential NGB awards in the Outdoors (to a maximum of £200 for Level 2 and £300 for Level 3).
The funding is limited so make the most of this opportunity whilst you can. Individuals / employees accessing the support must be 19 or over, live and/or work in the northwest and not be a full-time student. Full eligibility criteria are available on www.getqualifiednw.org.uk

Get Qualified NW is run by the University of Cumbria in partnership with the National Skills Academy for Sport & Active Leisure, with funding from European Social Fund managed by the regional Learning and Skills Council; State Aid regulations apply.

The Future Jobs Fund (FJF)
The National Skills Academy is putting together their second bid for government funding to support long-term unemployed individuals gain employment within the Sport & Active Leisure sector.
There are currently lots of people who have been out of work for a long time. This project supports you to be able to employ them for 6 months, gives them training and funds their wages to support them on their way to a future career in our sector.

National Survey On representation in Outdoor Leadership
This national survey has been set up by the Tanya Bocking Memorial Fund. The Fund makes grants towards training, giving preference to applicants who are under-represented in the sector. The survey takes around 10 minutes to complete and you can receive a free copy of the report once results are compiled http://digbig.com/5bapee
