Llanrug Centre to be closed

Llanrug Centre (Worcestershire's centre in North Wales) is to be closed, ostensibly in a money saving venture.  

Many County Councils have been cutting funding or closing centres recently and the situation is in urgent need of discussion at national government level.
   
As part of an attempt to get Worcestershire to reverse their decision regarding the closure of Llanrug Centre there is a petition on the House of Commons website.  If enough people sign it it might act as a prompt for a more general discussion on the subject of funding outdoor education and associated issues.
