SkillsActive is calling on all those who work in the outdoor industry to let us know what is happening on the ground in the sector.
SkillsActive has a role to improve workforce training and qualification provision for both employers and employees within the outdoors sector. By gathering hard facts on the problems and concerns facing you and your staff, we can influence the funding and availability of training locally. This Outdoors Census Survey aims to collect information on the key activities and services offered by outdoors organisations, the main participants for those activities, and the seasonal variation of both activities and participation to build up a picture of the sector across the UK. We are also keen to find out what staff and/or volunteers are needed in order to run those activities effectively
We are interested in hearing about all forms of outdoor/adventurous recreation, education and development training delivery even if activity provision is not your core business.
