2011 National Curriculum test date consultation Monday 26 October 2009
In the October 2008 Report on Expert Group on Assessment, it was
recommended that the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum tests are moved
from May to June in 2011. The Qualifications and Curriculum Development
Agency (QCDA) is inviting schools, LAs and other interested stakeholders
to comment on the suitability and feasibility of administering the tests
in the proposed week in 2011.
With this feedback, the QCDA can be informed of any national, local or
individual school events or religious holidays that may impact a school
being able to administer the tests in that week.
The survey, which will take no longer than five minutes to complete, and
any information provided will be treated as confidential.
Feedback is required before 5:00 pm on Friday 4 December 2009.
