Resident Assistant Instructor post is available for 1 year at this highly respected local authority residential centre for Environmental and Outdoor Education. Situated on a beautiful 56 acre site with its own ancient woodland nature reserve, meadows, ponds and meandering streams. Facilities include a climbing and abseiling tower, low and high ropes courses, zip wire, swimming pool, adventure playground and lots of team challenge type activities.

Would suit Graduate (or equivalent) who is interested in embarking on a career in Environmental and/or Outdoor Education and wishes to gain practical first hand experience.

We will provide training, coaching and further qualifications in a wide range of environmental education, adventurous and team building activities.

You will be provided with accommodation and all meals (when groups are on site), as well as a living allowance of £6,000 per year.  Accommodation will be a private room in a block shared with up to three others in a staff only part of the site. All services are free of charge and all accommodation is of a high standard. There is likely to be the opportunity to do some additional paid work after training and qualification.

Some weekend and evening working will be involved but as part of a 36 hour working week
