Established in 1984, OEG is the largest provider of Outdoor Education in Australia with over 80 client schools and 20,000 young people in the outdoors annually. We strive to deliver excellence in outdoor education through partnerships with our clients in order to prepare young people for the personal, social and environmental challenges in their lives.

 

This position will lead OEG staff in the development and implementation of short and long-term strategic and operational risk management goals.  It will monitor progress and where necessary initiate and lead change in the continuous improvement of OEG’s programs. Oversight of OEG’s OH&S program will be a component of this role.

 

In order to continue to improve on OEG’s strong reputation in this vital area, the successful candidate must be able to communicate and collaborate across program departments and with senior management. They will be a critical thinker with strong analytical skills.

 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree with proven ability in report writing and public speaking

Experience.

- Multiple years of progressively responsible experience and significant contributions to management.

- Experience in, and ability to handle and track multiple projects at one time.

- Outdoor Education Program management leadership and experience.

- Wilderness First Aid qualifications

- Working knowledge of MS software and ability to learn new software.

 

OEG has provisions to sponsor VISA applicants on a minimum two year contract basis.
