Bottomless Bag Revival!
by Karl Rohnke
Previously titled Bottomless Bag Again
Looking for user friendly games, challenging initiatives and exciting adventure stunts that can be confidently presented to educational, recreational or corporate groups? You've got them! All these things and more can be found in this title. Karl Rohnke has jammed adventure curriculum ideas, how to's, reasonably unreasonable vignettes and action scenarios into these pages. This, along with the other new title, Funn 'n Games, is a collection of games already published - but if you're new to Karl's work: these two titles are completely different; if you get one book you can be sure that the activities in the other book are unique and singular in composition. The format in both books is basically the same, making their use complimentary. But don't let this put you off getting any of his other titles - like Quicksilver and Silver Bullets; they're all good and very usable.

Climbing with Angels and Ghosts
"Climbing with Angels and Ghosts"
'The Unexplained Occurrences and multiple NDE's of an Adventurous Nobody above and below ground covering five decades of Adventure here in the Mountains of the U.K. Alps and Himalaya'
ISBN 978-0-9556989-4-1
This autobiography concerns itself with the author's life of adventure from the early age of three back in 1947 and follows his adventurous life through troubled adolescent years into adulthood. The chapters are stories in their own right and includes tales such as: playing with unexploded bombs, early gang warfare; sea cliff climbing in Malta in the late 1950's; experiences on a Dartmoor expedition as an R.A.F. Boy Entrant; introduction to the bullying, abuse and intimidation tactics employed by the armed forces in their approach to teaching abseiling and rock climbing in the early 1960's; early RAF mountain rescue experiences, and, his unusual approach to solo climbing.
It looks at a period of depression when a suicide attempt was prevented by an unexplained experience; climbing and caving accidents that contained many different yet similar unexplained experiences that defy explanation and logic; feelings of loss and sadness with the deaths of many close climbing friends and in particular on The Eiger and The Ben; feelings of loneliness among the crowds and finding salvation and answers in a plethora of adventurous activities which involved a willingness to invite death to call by testing it and teasing it through unconventional approaches to climbing and caving.
It is in essence, one man's lonely yet adventurous journey to self-discovery through a wide variety of adventure activities, looking at the highs, the lows, the serious and the funny side to adventures all tainted with unexplained events whilst 'living on the edge', sometimes just going over it!
