The Adventure Activity Insurance Scheme is a leader in providing insurance for both activity centres and freelance instructors. We fully understand the importance of supporting, developing and promoting excellent practice in learning through outdoor experience. We recognise that every activity business is unique so have ensured that you have the flexibility to grow your insurance to match your particular requirements. And as your activities business grows, we can adapt your policy to suit you.

We also have a bespoke scheme for forest school leaders/bushcraft leaders/environmental study officers, who work on a freelance basis.

Under this scheme, a freelance instructor offering purely Environmental Studies can expect to pay just £169 inc IPT for an annual policy (depending on satisfactory completion on the proposal form) if they are a member of IOL. Please note: If you are trading under a company name, you are required to be an Organisation member with the IOL.

An excellent programme of sessions on day 1 designed to provide a depth of insight and understanding of implications for outdoor practice to the established practitioner or organisation manager.

A wide range of workshops designed to introduce new concepts/practices or fresh thinking on existing practice. - Accommodation in en-suite B&B: This is the standard booking option. Available on Thursday16th (prior to the Conference) and Friday 17th. Includes the Friday evening Conference dinner and pre-dinner speaker.
- No Accommodation option - you can book to attend the Conference with no accommodation if you prefer.
- Camping: There is no camping at the venue. If you would like arrange your own camping with a tent we suggest you contact the nearest campsite (5 miles) at Proctors Park on 01509 412434. For attendance with no accommodation contact us for no B&B prices and to book.
